Costs Involved in Auto Shipping
August 4, 2011 4:42 pm AutomotiveWhen I first started looking into auto transport, I was kind of surprised by the costs. Apparently there are some auto transport companies out there that are not 100% honest about the costs involved in auto shipping.
When I was just getting into the process, I came across a lot of companies that were offering me what seemed to be very affordable prices. I actually wound up booking with one of these companies and found that my rate would be raised by about $300! I tried to cancel with said company, but they wound up taking my deposit ($200 down the drain.)
It’s important that you don’t make the same mistake that I made; go with an auto transport company that makes clear what the costs involved in auto shipping actually are! I took me a little more searching for a GOOD auto transport company, but I was sure glad when I did. So take your time and make the right choice.
