I Write and Produce My Own Music

I grew up in a family that played music every day. My day loved playing the piano and my mom played the saxophone. They both teach music at the University. That is also where they met. I started writing music when I was six years old. I was also lucky because my parents were my instructors so that I meant I received free guitar lessons. That was another instrument that they played, and that is the only one I cared to learn. When I was ten, I started playing at the church. Now I play all kinds of different venue. I am writing and producing my own music now.

My Card Making Inspired by My Aunt

When I was a small girl, I used to spend several weeks with my Aunty Eileen during the summer school holidays because both of my parents had full time jobs and I was too young to be left alone. My Uncle had a very highly paid job and so my Aunt didn’t have to go out to work but instead stayed at home and fulfilled her passion for creating things for the home. She was an extremely arty person and her house was filled with ornaments and decorations that she had hand made. It was my aunt who first introduced me to the art of greeting card making.  She had a real flair for this hobby and was able to pass onto me many of the techniques she had learned over the twenty or so years she had been involved with it. I’m afraid without the help of Aunty Eileen I would have not taken up card making and become the successful business woman that I am today.

Searching for a good photography school

Searching for a good art school, and one I can afford, is my goal for the upcoming year.  My dream job is to work as a wedding photojournalist and have creative license, working a few times a month is pretty enticing too.  Most schools seem to be pretty expensive and buying supplies and equipment will raise the price tag too.  With so much information online and a bit of an armature background in photography, I’m wondering if I should give it a shot alone.

When my husband and I started talking about a photographer for our wedding we agreed that we wanted an artistic look to our photos rather than the posed formal photos we had been a part of for so many friends and family’s weddings.   When I first met Angela I was greeted with a warm hug and as soon as I began to flip through her albums I knew we had found our new york city wedding photo professional.  Her photos have such a personal feel to them and they seemed to catch moments unlike any other wedding photos I had seen.
