He kept repeating over and over again that it was hard. Everyone else in the 5k training program was getting pretty tired of his complaints. It isn’t easy to keep up with a program when you can’t concentrate fully. So, the trainer finally asked him to quiet his complaints or leave the class. It turns out the man hadn’t realized he had been complaining so loudly and decided to change his tune. Every time he felt like saying it was hard, he started telling himself he loved it. After some time, he actually did learn to love it and is now among the best in the program.

I Took Him to Training

I got a phone call the other day from one of my friends, and he told me that he was in need of a hand.  I asked him what I could do for him, and he told me that he had just signed up for bjj training in canberra, but he didn’t have a car to get there.  I asked him why he would do that, and he told me that he just couldn’t turn down an offer like that.  He really wanted to go, so I told him that I would take him this week, but he would have to find his own ride next time.

My parents moved from Missouri to Oregon last year. Since I had not seen them since the move, I decided to use my vacation time to go visit them. Oregon was a nice change of scenery.
