Can i escape the medicines?

I am feeling very low since past few days. I developed a strong pain in my neck after an injury. Since then I am made to take medicines by my doctor. I have to take large number of medicines every day. I do not like taking those medicines as they cause me several gastrointestinal problems. My friend Jane told me that visiting the Drexel Hill Neck Pain chiropractor could help me relieve this neck pain. Please provide me your opinion about this. Shall I visit a chiropractor? Also please tell me the pros and cons of chiropractic treatment and also the duration of treatment.
