Why helping needy children is a good thing

There is no doubt that helping needy children is a good thing. And it is particularly good if you help them in the developing world. Or should we say int he world where countries barely develop at all. But are run by elites who keep needy people poor and take the money for themselves. The children in countries that suffer in this way are vulnerable and we need to help them as best we can. Direct grants of cash are not helpful. This is a proven fact and you can see the wisdom of giving help rather than money in the records of the aid and development agencies around the world. Money can be syphoned off into other places. Better to build roads, schools and hospital clinics. And even better to teach farmers how to be more productive on their land with better tools and seeds.
