Getting Advice From my Sister to Get Pre Approved for a Mortgage

When I first set out to buy a home, I was nervous about the process as I did not know much about it.  Because of this, I asked my favorite sister if she would help me out as she had just purchased a home with her husband so she knew quite a bit about buying a house.  She agreed to help me and told me that the first thing I was going to want to do would be to get pre approved for a mortgage.  After I had done that, my sister told me the rest of the steps I would need to take in order to find and purchase a home, and thanks to her advice the process went smoothly and I will be closing on my new home in a few weeks.
