The Butcher Block I bought my parents

Two weeks ago my parents flew out to Aspen Colorado to do some serious skiing. My parents have been skiing for the past 25 years and never pass up an opportunity to get a good deal, which they recently had gotten from a friend. Because my parents were away I was going to do some things to make their kitchen a lot nicer. One of the things that I was going to buy my parents was a nice Butcher Block and some first rate cutlery. My mother has been using the same cutlery for the past 12 years and seriously needs some updates.
