Fixing your broken beach umbrellas

7:56 pm Miscellaneous

Take all your beach umbrellas and check for dents in the metal rods. Beach umbrellas get dusty from the sand and this causes the metal to corrode at a rapid pace. Go to your local hardware store and pick up some metal shield to add a line of defense against the little specks of dust. Also, a lot of UV exposure and heat will cause your umbrella to prematurely wear out on the seams, breaking and leaving you out in the sun. Lubricate all the seams and joints with some grease and spray some UV shield before you head out onto the beach.
