Some good reasons to use Eheim 2260 filters

They are great filters to choose if you are looking for a replacement canister filter. You cannot get a more powerful external filter from Eheim than the 2260 filter. Filters from Eheim are known to be reliable filters and good performers over years of use.
They are much more powerful and useful than the external filters that hang off the tank. Filtration happens when the water is sucked through the filter media within the filter housing. Dirty water is then processed through the filter media before being passed back to the aquarium. Eheim filters will be almost maintenance free as well as being nearly silent.
