Price Determinants For Singapore Properties part 4
October 19, 2011 6:57 pm Real EstateIf you are a foreigner, it is important to know that you cannot own property for good in Singapore. Even though the free market was opened up to foreigners to own Singapore properties, the truth is that you can only hold it in a leasehold tenure of a given number of years and after that, you have to surrender the title to the property plus the interest. Once you know that, then maybe you will only want to buy property in locations where the cost will not be high. Usually, the leasehold will be for 99 years. For private properties, it can go up to 999 years or freehold.
