Being Thankful

I am so thankful for carbonite online backup. For the past year I have been writing a novel. This novel was on my laptop and I had stupidly never backed it up to a flash drive or CD. Last week, while I was getting off of the train, I was knocked over by a mugger who had stolen a woman’s purse. When I fell my laptop went flying and now it won’t turn on. The repair shop has informed me that I need to buy a new one. I don’t mind getting a new laptop and I’m thrilled that I have carbonite because the situation could have been much worse. I could have lost my novel.
